The Acquista Family Home Page

Of Central Ohio

The Central Ohio fraction of the Acquista Family move to Central Ohio in 1959 from New York, NY. Tony and Tina Acquista moved their family due to a transfer for Tony while working for Bell Lavatories, the R & D arm of the then "Phone Company" A T & T. Back then Ohio Bell and Western Electric ruled the telecommunications industry and was expending throughout the mid west. Tony wanted to move his family out of the City of New York and to the clean and fresh countryside's of Ohio. A fresh start and a garden for a city boy and his wife and children.

The Acquistas build a house at 1763 Rosehill Rd in Reynoldsburg Oh where Tony and Tina raised their 7 Children. In 59 there was Phyllis, Anthony, Marie, Donald and Joann. Tina and Robert arrived a little later.

By 2004 the Acquista family name includes members from the Byers, Swartz, Weimar, Meinen, Maurer, Stamm, Landerman, Falls, Jackson, Carfagna, Wagenbrenner, Nickleson, and Reynolds families!
