1. Edit | Capture Filters...
   
   
   
2. You will see the Filter List form
   
   
   
3. Enter the filter name into the "Filter Name:" textbox
   
4. Enter your filter string into the "Filter String:" textbox
   
5. Click on "New"
   
6. Click on "Save"
   
7. That's all there is to it!

To use your filters is just as easy

1. Select Start...
   
   
   
2. Press Filter: or enter the filter string directly into the textbox
   
   
   
3. Press OK
   
4. You should now see the Ethereal/Wireshark Capture form
   
   
   
5. Press Stop when you are done capturing
